What is Electro-Acuscope/Myopulse Therapy?
First introduced to the public in 1978, the Electro-Acuscope/Myopulse Therapy System is a combination of two unique electronic medical instruments designed to treat impaired and damaged tissue through a feedback-modulated micro-current transcutaneous nerve stimulus process.
The system consists of two instruments:
- addresses neurological components of pain and tissue impairment
- addresses connective tissue, ie. muscle, tendon, ligament, and fascia
These two instruments aide in the reduction of pain and inflammation. Additionally, they help to improve blood flow in tissues with impaired circulation, thus aiding in cellular regeneration. Combined with the benefits of myofascial release, improved flexibility, balance, pain reduction and overall relaxation can occur.
